Interesting film reference: While viewing "Bride in the Wind" a biopic about Alma Mahler, her many loves and a tempestuous romance with a fiery painter, you could not help but notice that Oskar Kokoschka frequently wore a long strand of sparkly red "stones". At the most crucial moment of their "togetherness apex", he transfers his red necklace onto and around her neck...very talented admirable multitasking...
When you see it in that time period and location, you can't help but wonder, 'are those heavy garnets' ... must be amber!!!
