Lot (A) This festive box set has red green "EOD" art glass stones that were often favored by George Steere and similar art glass was made by Leo Popper. Still in the box are these vintage antique Arts & Crafts era red green foil with gold fleck cabs bezel set goose neck cufflinks with football bean backs. Marked "G" for George Steere of Providence RI? He also marked some GNS. He was known to have made stick pins. Matching scarf stick pin marked "G".
Have seen these cabs only on magnificent work by him, in same metal finish and color as these. The bezel set 15mm art foil cabs are within a wheat leaf pattern on gold gilt brass. They look as if never worn still on ivory silk in the holly leaf paper wrapped box. Quite festive! 3/4 X 5/8".
